Street Life

"Still holds up."

submission: Street Life
date: November 14, 2009

It's amazing how much talent you posessed at such a young age, Stamper. This game is so much better than many of the adventure games that are released today. While there were some voice and some issues here and there, I was still really impressed. The music was great and helped set an atmosphere that made the streets we were viewing seem very realistic. It was much fun playing this game, it's just as good now as it ever was.

The storyline for the game was good, plus the dialogue and conversations were funny at times, but could also be serious. It was nice how you offered the duality of moods in the game, that is a hard tactic to cover. Anyway, it's cool to see how even this entertaining game is so different than your work today, you've improved so much. Keep it up Stamper, you are doing an excellent job.

Waiting for the Bus!

"Deserving of a perfect score."

date: November 14, 2009

I was never really on the Cyanide and Happiness bandwagon like everyone else was until I saw this short. I had completely forgotten about that movie Speed, so seeing that there was a parody of it really brought a smile to my face. The animation was impressive. It's amazing all the work you put into the storyline for this flash just so you could set up a ridiculous punchline. The fact that I've this numerous times just to see the ending is amusing itself.

Besides the ending, I thought the part where the fifty mile per hour man was talking to the bus driver in the beginning was my favorite part. It was silly how this basically followed every fifteen minute of fame celebrity lifestyle, achieving a lot, then it goes downhill, then something in the end sets themself free. Anyway, kudos for making me laugh hysterically. You have my respect and I am now a fan. Keep up the excellent work!

Level Editor

"Very creative."

submission: Level Editor
date: November 14, 2009

The simple concept of this game is what made it so great. I enjoy the level creating sections for games, but a game that completely focuses on that idea is just brilliant. I had some difficulty with the jump control, I couldn't really get a running start becasue the platforms would end sooner than they appeared which caused me to fall to my death. That was the only problem I faced, besides that, I thought the game was full of amusement.

The graphics were great and the music really put me in a carefree mood. If there was only a level editor for this game, then I think I would be in heaven. The enemies were also amusing to watch, just seeing them rolling around added to the fun. Overall, the game was very addictive and a great puzzler mixed with some action. Keep up the excellent work!

Runes of Shalak

"It was decent."

submission: Runes of Shalak
date: November 13, 2009

I thought the storyline of the game was pretty overused, there are a lot of guy saves girl games out there. The graphics were refreshing since it bring back the Atari memories. The controls were alright, but many of the levels I thought were pretty redundant. I thought the idea of collecting coins to beat each level was more challenging than simply getting to an exit, kudos on that.

The music was alright, I liked the way the enemies moved though, their simple patterns really revived that vibe of the old Atari games. The medals were fun to achieve, but I could never bring myself to finish the game. Anyway, this was an interesting idea for a game and I thought it was executed decently. Keep up the good work, I have high expectations for you.

Fig. 8

"A decent game."

submission: Fig. 8
date: November 13, 2009

I was highly impressed by the concept of the game, I liked how you were traveling across a blueprint landscape, plus the music made the game seem very relaxing. The controls were difficult to adjust too, I didn't like how you had to spin around the checkpoints, I would have rather just liked to pass them. The graphics were nice, and I thought it was creative how you could see your score every so often near certain checkpoints.

The game became very repetitive, plus the fact that everything looking so similar prevented me from being able to keep track of where I was. Also, adding some other colors besides black and white would have given the game an overall better look in my opinion. In conclusion, I thought the game was unique but some flaws that lowered my expectations. Keep up the good work.

Madness Accelerant

"A great sequel."

submission: Madness Accelerant
date: November 13, 2009

I thought Madness Regent was perfect, but kudos you all for being able to make an even better sequel. It was a great idea to allow Hank to change weapons, plus the chainsaw is a life saver. The different stages where you battle Tricky were very clever, I especially thought the one in the falling elevator was fun. The medals were great additions to the game, the different endings helped increase replay value, plus the true face of evil medal is hilarious.

The controls were easy to learn, but I did not sense much of a difference between Madness Mode and the regular game, but I'll take the extra medal points either way. The graphics were really well done and the sound effects were well times with the character's motions. Overall, a fitting tribute to Madness Day with exceptional playability. Keep up the excellent work.

Pirate Golf Adventure

"One of the best golf games out there."

date: November 13, 2009

There are several golf games on this sithe that I find entertaining, but this one really takes the cake. I love all of the side quests there are on this game, like collecting the coins and finding the secret area. The medals were a nice addition as well. My favorite level was with the octopus's tentacles and where you are allowed to beat the level without harming the alligator.

Granted, I was not very talented at this game, but I still enjoyed myself. The controls were easy to learn and the animation looked spectacular. The storyline was also creative, it's not often you play a sports game with a storyline. For your first game I am highly impressed, I cannot wait to see your future games. Kep up the excellent work!

When Pigs Fly

"I didn't really care for it."

submission: When Pigs Fly
date: November 13, 2009

The concept of the game I thought was clever. I thought the opening scene was funny, and the graphics were decent. The problem with it though is that it seems like many people are simply creating games and putting medals in them to torment and torture the users on this site by just creating difficult levels. It doesn't focus at all on originality, just the trial and error levels of the game become incredibly redundant.

The music was good, and the pig sound effects were funny simply because they did not at all sound like a pig. The game itself is frustrating since it is just mindless control of the keyboard with not much reflex testing. I thought the game was based on a clever idea, but the execution of the game was poor. I don't think I've ever slammed my hands on the keyboard so many times before in my life. Anyway, keep up the nice work.

Time Fcuk

"Very unique."

submission: Time Fcuk
date: November 13, 2009

This game was refreshing, it reminded me of the mindless hours I would spend playing Portal. The plotline was somewhat difficult to understand for me, it seemed like the game's storyline was trying to have an overall message, but I suppose it just flew over my head. I had difficulties with the controls too, I often hit the change format button instead of the pick up box button, but I'll blame that one upon my own stupidity.

My favorite part of the game was being able to explore all of the user created levels. I don't see myself voting on 333 maps anytime in the near future, but this game has a high replay value and I see myself coming back to play it from time to time. Overall, I thought the animation was very cool and the concept of the game was very creative. Keep up the great work!

Crush the Castle: PP

"Highly addictive."

date: November 13, 2009

I struggled at first to get into the right rhythm of sling the rocks at the castles, but once I got the hang of it I could not stop playing. Some of the levels I thought were vaguely similar to each other, but many of them focused on original concepts which I liked. The graphic were good, and I really thought the concept of the game was creative. I never played the first edition of this game, but this is certainly tempting me to do so.

I eventually ended up getting all the medals because I sat around at my computer all day gaining no physical exercise, partially due to this game being so addictive. I liked all of the upgraded stones everytime you advance to a new country. Overall, the atmosphere of this game is very enjoyable and the concept is very unique. I hope to see another edition of this game in the future. Keep up the excellent work!
