This piece sounded so cool. I like how it started out with the creepy chime sounds, but it as it kinda mellowed out at the end and became vibrantly softer. Overall, it was very creative and definately sends some chills down your spine. The only problem I had was that it seemed more like a bunch of sound effects mixed together instead of a flow of a song. Anyway, keep up the great work!

Trust me, you're very lucky having reviewed this as it is now than what it used to be. Right there in the middle is what it was originally, just a 26 second loop really. So once I found the score, I thought, "I knew I had this around here somewhere, now I can mix this and throw it into the Audio Portal." So all in all, be glad you reviewed it as it is now.

I thought the beginning of the song reminded me of Weezer's song "Hashhpipe". The whole song is very addictive, I've already listened to it three times. I like how at the beginning it sounds like the guitar is going up and down the scales, it meshed perfectly witht he drums. Keep up the great work!
Author's Response:
Thanks man, I usually just mess with the guitar, intensity, and volume ad various points within the score after I listen to it un-altered. I just do what I can really. Thanks for the 10.

I have to say this actually sounded like an infomercial. I got a good laugh out of the funny voices you guys made. I liked when the person said "Oh gee willikers!" and the slowed it down, that was hilarious. I found it interesting since this was entertaining, but informational, I never knew the two could be combined. Keep up the great work!
Author's Response:
Thanks for the review! Yeah, I like to consider this an infomercial that can keep you awake for more than 5 seconds.

"A good beat mixed with an exotic sound."
This song made me feel like I was in a jungle or if I was exploring a cave, it really sounded like something you would hear in a video game. My favorite part was at a minute-fifteen into the song when you heard the violin, your author description also gave me a good feeling of what the song was made for, it set the mood very well.
You have a good ear for this, I thought you timed the drums perfecly with the music in the background. I've listened to it a couple times through, it gets better each time because I notice something I hadn't heard before. Just curious, what program do you use? I am definately adding this to my favorites. Keep up the great work!
Author's Response:
This was all made in Fruity Loops Studio 8, with free soundfonts and samples. ;D Great to hear you liked it, thanks a lot for the encouragement!

"One of the most hilarious songs I've ever heard."
The rhymes, the simple drum beat, and the sexual innuendos were all perfect. It somewhat reminded me of Afroman's Colt 45. The Power Rangers part was so funny, the chorus was great too. You actually have a pretty decent voice too. I'm definately adding this to my favorites and downloading it to my iPod. Keep up the great work!

This piece is so much fun to listen to. You have a really good ear for these remixes. It kind of reminded me of something by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones with the jazzy sound, guitar, and drums mixed together. I thought the underground part of the song sounded the coolest. Anyway, keep up the great work!
Author's Response:
Thanks, yeah I listen to alot of ska so the Mighty Mighty Bosstones are a huge influence. Glad you dig the tune XP

I like these songs that are mainly percussion instruments, and this is a very nice compilation you put together. It kept a steady beat, and it sounded really cool when the vibraslap came in. The bongos sound extrememly awesome when all of the other instruments are in the background. This will definately get in a flash ssoner or later. Keep up the great work!

You have a good ear for these things. I could definately sense the India references you were aiming for. The sitar sounds really cool, that would be the foreign instrument that I would want to learn to play. What program do you use? The quality is excellent, I'd just add a little more sitar or something at the end. Overall, it was an addictive tune. I think I've listened to it ten times now. Keep up the great work!
Author's Response:
Thanks! I used GarageBand, an excellent program. Yeah, know how you feel, I couldn't stop listening this, and the sitar is definitely a more kickass version of a guitar
Thanks for teh review!

"I try not to recollect my thoughts..."
...But I distinctively remember this was the first song I ever listened to in the Audio Portal. About four years ago I had an obsession with downloading music from flash sites, and I looked for the lowest scoring submissions on this site, and at that time this was one of them. I thought this wasn't good in the slightest back then, so that set my interpretation of Newgrounds (which is why I didn't create an account until '07).
I recently searched for this song due to a thread asking for your earliest Newgrounds memory, and I now laugh about this song. It's pretty funny, I enjoy it so much more than I did in the past. I thank you for creating my first stumble upon this site. Keep up the great work!

I knew I had to review this when I saw it had Rick Astley in it, and this was incredibly awesome. I really liked it when the chorus came around and you heard the little beeps from the keyboard, that sounded really awesome. What program do you use? I'm sure this will be in a flash sooner or later, every user supports the overused Rick Roll fad. Overall, this was very groovy. Keep up the great work!
Author's Response:
I used FL studio 8, best DAW ever in my opinion.
Glad you liked it. thanks:)
